How Fairest Mirror works

1. No pay-to-play

Clinics cannot pay to appear higher, to change how their price is shown, or to have a price removed. Sorting is by price (Botox-equivalent per unit) and, on the map, by distance. If we ever run advertising it will sit in a separate, clearly labelled area and will never affect the list, the tables, or the map pins.

We do not accept referral fees, commissions, or any payment tied to a patient booking. That is both our principle and Arizona law.

2. Where prices come from

Every price on the site carries a date and one of four sources:

• Clinic website — the public price page, recorded with the URL and time we saw it.
• Phone — we called and asked for the current per-unit price; we log the date and who answered.
• User receipt — a reader sent a receipt. These are labelled “user-submitted” and are never edited by us.
• Groupon listing — a bundle deal, shown as total ÷ units with the bundle noted.

We re-check prices on a rolling basis. Anything older than 180 days is flagged as unverified until we confirm it again. We record facts only — prices, units, credentials, addresses — and never copy a clinic's photos or marketing text.

3. How we normalise prices

• All comparisons use Botox-equivalent $/unit. Dysport prices are multiplied by 2.5 and Daxxify by 2; the original per-unit price is always shown next to it.
• Bundles and per-area prices are converted to per unit (total ÷ units) and labelled.
• Member, new-patient and special prices are shown with a label; the standard price is listed where we have it.
• The lowest price in any list is always a named clinic with a date — never an average or an estimate.

4. Injector credentials

Each price is tied to an injector and their credential — MD/DO, NP, PA or RN — as recorded by the Arizona Medical Board, the Arizona Board of Nursing, or the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants on the date shown. Where the clinic publishes it, we also note the supervision structure (physician on site, NP-owned independent practice, or remote medical director).

This describes legal scope of practice only. We do not rate skill, safety, or outcomes, and we do not rank injectors by credential. Ask any clinic who is responsible for your care and whether a good-faith exam is on file.

5. Corrections and claiming your listing

Clinics and injectors: if a price, credential or address is wrong, email corrections@thefairestmirror.com from a clinic address with the correct information. We verify and publish corrections within 48 hours, and keep a public change history for each listing. Claiming your listing is free and does not change your position.

Readers: paid a different price? Send the clinic, injector, brand, units, total and date to prices@thefairestmirror.com. Please cover personal details on any receipt photo before sending — we delete originals after extracting the price.

6. Who runs this

Fairest Mirror is built by a licensed pharmacist who got tired of reading “how much do you pay per unit?” threads with no answer. It is independent, not affiliated with any clinic or manufacturer, and starts with the Scottsdale–Phoenix area.
